Portfolio
In this section you can look at a few example sites from our portfolio that illustrate our breadth of experience and the range of sites we have designed and built. The sites all have the common themes of:
- Elegant simplicity in visual design.
- Clear and easily understood site structure and navigation.
- No gimmicks - everything on a page has a carefully considered purpose.
We always strive to design and build sites to the highest standards which includes making them accessible to as many people as possible.
Examples in Automotive
Julian Shoolheifer
The brief: The original brief in 2006 was to complete the development of the Julian Shoolheifer site which had run into unforseen problems with a previous web development agency. After the initial relaunch the on-going development of the site has been a critical component in the expansion of Julian Shoolheifer's business.
Result: The original brief saw the design tightened and development of the Tender Sales section completed. Since then additional functionality has been added to Tender Sales and a new Private Treaty Sales section was added in Summer 2007. The site now receives over 3000 visits per week and total on-line bids placed during auctions has exceeded £200,000.
Manor Car Storage
The brief: Manor Car Storage's existing site was looking tired and out of date. The were also concerned that they were slipping down Google's search engine ranking. Meerkat was asked to address both these issues with a new site design.
Result: We took Manor Car Storage's existing logo and branding and gave the site a fresh, modern feel. The site was rewritten in accordance with accessibility standards and with no other specific Search Engine Optimisation work is currently ranked #2 in Google for the search phrase "car storage".
RHA ICON
The brief: ICON Vehicle Safety Ltd wanted a site that would sell their ICON vehicle safety programme to prospective clients through testimonials and case studies. They asked for the site design to be consistent with their existing branding.
Result: We applied the look and feel of their existing printed materials to the website and incorporated an accessible "pull down" menu. The site was implemented using an open source content management system to make it easy for ICON Vehicle Safety to add future testimonials and press releases.
